On the occasion of World Environment Day, 2012 which is celebrated on 5th June, 2012 worldwide, Environment & Forests Department conducted a seminar at Tourist Lodge, Chaltlang. The seminar was chaired by Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Pu L.R. Thanga, Dr. S.S.Garbyal, Principal Secretary & PCCF was the Chief Guest. The theme chosen for this 40th World Environment Day, 2012 is 'Green Economy : Does it include you?'.
