1.Name of Division:- Working Plan Forest Division (S)

2.History and Genesis of the Division:- Working Plan Forest Division is created as Deputy Conservator of Forest (WPO Lunglei vide DP&AR letter NoARW/Fst/pt II/2000-2001/257-B Dt 13.10.2000,Finance Dept ID No FIN(E) 1/2002 Dt 27.5.2002 and E&F Dept No A-11013/1/87-FST/pt-II dt 5.9.2002. Notification designated as  WPO(N) and WPO (S) was Issued vide Letter no A-11013/1/87-FST/Pt-III/124 dt 27.2.2006.

3.Activities and Achievement of the Division:-

     1).Activities:-

(a)  Intesive survey of Territorial  Division i,e Lunglei Forest Division.Tlabung Forest Division,N Vanlaiphai Forest Division CADC for preparation of Working Plan, Intensive Survey for MADC was also Completed

(b)  Demarcation and Fixation of Boundary pillars of Reserve Foresst and Riverine Reserved Forests under various Territorial Division under Southern Circle was also executed

      2).Achievements:-

(a)  Writing of  Working  Plan for Lunglei Forest Div.              -           Appproved

(b)  Writing of  Working  Plan for Tlabung Forest Div.             -           Appproved

(c)  Writing of  Working  Plan for N.Vanlaiphai Forest Div       -         Appproved

(d)  Writing of  Working Plan for CADC Forest Div.                   -           Appproved

(e)  Writing of  Working Plan for MADC Forest Div.                  -Not  yet approved
